I am looking for I'm currently living with my brother just outside of the city, but I'm now on the hunt for a cozy, central spot in Zürich — ideally to be closer to my new job in Altstetten and to experience more of what the city has to offer. Because I live with family, my move in date can be flexible.

I'm looking for a sunny room in a WG where home feels like a place to relax and recharge. I really appreciate a clean and tidy home — nothing extreme, just a shared sense of care and respect for the space. I’m happy to connect more deeply with roommates if it clicks, but I’m also totally comfortable with a more independent dynamic (with the possibility of an occasional chat over tea, cooking night, or spontaneous movie evening).

I’m open to different locations as long as there’s a good connection (less than 30 minutes) to Altstetten — anything reasonably central or well-connected by public transport works. I’m also open to different flat dynamics, whether it's a two-person WG or something a bit larger, as long as the atmosphere is respectful, warm, and generally quiet.

Bonus for me if you like plants or have pets :)

I am Hi!! I'm Sophia — I grew up in the US but moved back to Switzerland 2 years ago and am 25 years old. I work in Zürich in a kita and also nanny and am excited to move closer to the city.

In my free time, I enjoy painting, yoga, visiting flea markets, thrifting, reading, watching movies, and exploring new corners of Zürich. I love a good slow weekend with a book and a coffee, but I also enjoy spontaneous plans and good conversation. I’m a big fan of plants and animals (so if you have either, that's a big plus!).

I'm tidy, calm, and communicative — I’m always up for a shared meal or outing, but I also really value personal space and quiet time (especially because my days are so loud and crazy working with young kids). I’ve lived with many different types of people over the years and always try to contribute to a warm and respectful home.

I’m a native English speaker and currently working on relearning German and Swiss German — slowly but surely :)
