Sono My name is Jana Radaković, and I am an international student from Slovenia, currently in the final year of my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at University of Groningen. This September, I will begin my Master’s studies at ETH Zurich in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on the Molecular Bioengineering track, an exciting new chapter I’m very much looking forward to.
As I prepare for this move, I am searching for a welcoming and comfortable place to live. I would describe myself as a calm, tidy, and respectful person who takes great care of my surroundings and values a peaceful, clean home. I’m well-organized and reliable when it comes to responsibilities like rent and household chores. I’ve previously lived in shared accommodations and know the importance of being a considerate and communicative housemate.
Beyond my studies, I’m a warm and open person who enjoys connecting with others. I truly enjoy living in multicultural environments and am used to being part of international communities. During my bachelor’s, I had the privilege of serving as the chair of our Honours College Social Association, where I organized events, fostered collaboration, and built meaningful relationships with students from many different backgrounds. This experience not only strengthened my leadership and organizational skills, but also deepened my appreciation for shared spaces and community living.
In my free time, I enjoy quiet and creative hobbies like reading, painting, baking, and crocheting. I value a calm environment—perfect for relaxing, studying and the occasional shared meal or conversation with housemates. I’m always open to meeting new people and would be happy to live in a friendly household where we respect each other’s space while also enjoying a chat or an activity together.
Financially, I am fully prepared to support myself in Zurich. I receive a monthly scholarship and an allowance from my parents, ensuring I can comfortably cover rent and living costs.
