La chambre est*We are advertising two rooms!
Flat: The flat has 7 rooms, with one double occupancy (so 8 tenants in total). It has 3 floors and 3 bathrooms (shower on the top floor, toilet on the middle floor, and a shower and toilet on the ground floor). The kitchen and living room is shared and has 6 electric stoves, an oven, and other random cooking equipment that we have collected over the years. There is no dishwasher unfortunately so be prepared to get scrubbing.
Washing machines are located in the basement and there are no dryers, only lines for hanging your clothes out to dry. There is a storage space in the basement for the flat but it is not very large.
The flat is located next to a little lawn with a big tree in the middle. There is some space for people with green fingers to do their gardening. We have had raspberries, cherry tomatoes, gooseberries, and other plants growing there. Several flats surround the lawn so you will be able to say hi to your neighbours. There is also a table outside the flat for hosting outdoor lunches and dinners when the weather is fine.
1st room - This room is located on the 1st floor of the flat and is one of the bigger ones. If possible, it would be nice if the person taking over the room would also take over the furniture in the room. Rent: 585 CHF
2nd room - The room is located at the top of the flat. It is smaller than the first room. WOKO will provide a desk and small bed frame for the room. Rent: 503 CHF
Nous cherchons
a cool new flatmate who is interested in participating in WG life! We would like someone who will be often present to be an active member of the WG. We do have regular WG dinners and in general, we like spending our evenings in the living room and kitchen area, cooking and vibing with one another.
We'd ideally like someone who has lived in a WG before and knows what it's like to live with many people. This means someone who is respectful of your flatmates, a good communicator, and responsible and clean when it comes to the shared areas. Since we are a WG with many international people, we are looking for an English-speaking individual.
To let us gain a glimpse into a bit of your personality, we would appreciate it if you could answer one of the following questions:
1. If you had 1000 CHF, what would you get for the flat and why?
2. What is your favorite literary classic?
3. If you had to choose a somewhat mundane superpower, what would it be?

Nous sommes
We are a friendly group of international students from all over who have found ourselves drawn to Bülachstrasse either by chance but also (more likely) because this is an amazing WOKO! We are 8 in total in the flat (sometimes more with people's partners staying over).
Now, time to introduce the gang! We have Maï Ly (F, 23) - pronounced like Miley Cyrus and written with a few typos - doing her PhD in neuroscience although she likes to say that she is a professional mouse trainer. Hailing from the land of croissants, she's a rice cooker enthusiast and a bread lover and she’s delightfully average at multiple sports! Then, there’s Shay (F, 23) from Germany, who (fun fact) bought her very first bottle of alcohol for our WG dinner. When she’s not studying the human psyche, she’s busy singing, dancing or aspiring to be a podcast host. Also, she hates spiders. There's Kian (M, 23), an incredibly smart and cultured man from Zagreb. He's doing his PhD in Biology at ETH and minoring in brainrot and trash memes. He loves photography and he's the guy to call to capture all the random party moments we were too drunk to remember! Next is Alexis (M, 27), our chaotic ball-of-energy and native Swiss from the faraway lands of Geneva. He's also our second ETH Biology person. He has an iconic cackle and loves scooting around on his inline skates and having deep conversations. Then, we have Maxime (M, 27), our inline skating musician (second one??) from the south of France. He is doing his PhD in sustainable mechanical design. You can call him “trash man” since he loves to go dumpster diving and repair stuff he finds for free. Finally, there’s Felix (21, M), our latest addition to 9i, a mechanical engineering bachelor hailing from Austria. When he is not busy creating the latest new invention with his 3D printer, he is busy in the kitchen preparing overnight oats and pasta pesto. Together, you will have a blast living in this flat full of uniquely quirky and cool people!
