Das Zimmer istStarting from mid-July we are renting a room (approx. 18 m2) in our shared flat on Sandrainstrasse. The move-in date is negotiable, a later or earlier are also possible.
We live in a charming old flat in a quiet neighbourhood near the River Aare. The flat is centrally located and yet you don't have the feeling of living in the middle of the city.
The rent is CHF 690 (including utilities and internet). The flat has a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a corridor with cupboards (one of which you can claim for yourself), a laundry room, a cellar compartment, a garden seating area and a balcony where you can enjoy a wonderful brunch with a view of the Aare. Some furniture can be taken over if desired.
Wir suchen
...an open, positive, funny, independent and reliable person who enjoys living in a shared flat and values cleanliness and tidiness. Pets are also welcome😊
Wir sind
Franziska, 32 years old. In keeping with the location of our flat, I like to spend time on, in or by the River Aare – swimming, walking, running, reading and / or eating ice cream. I enjoy being out in nature, for example hiking, spending time with friends or giving robotics workshops to kids. I work in educational research, which means I'm working and commuting lot at the moment. That's why I look forward all the more to cosy evenings in our flat with shared conversations over a glass of wine or a cup of tea.
Michael, 28 years old from the US. I like playing football, ski touring, running, cycling, river, all kinds of music, sometimes a lil video game, sometimes a lil reading. Getting a master’s degree in philosophy. Previously worked in politics and government back in the States. I anticipate I’ll have a busy couple of semesters this academic year and will likely travel home during breaks for at least a little.
We like to cook and eat together or spend time together in other ways (for a walk, a swim, a run or a trip together, etc.). We are always happy to have spontaneous conversations - sometimes short, sometimes longer, sometimes profound, sometimes less serious. However, we both have our own lives and are both very busy with work and studies. And as you might have guesses, we talk in English ;-)
Interested? Send us an email and tell us about yourself. We look forward to hearing from you! :-)
